Stock Simulator – Open Coding Society
What began as a simple challenge became a fully interactive way for students to understand the stock market without fear or financial risk. I noticed how many were curious about investing yet held back by uncertainty — so I set out to build a simulator that reflects real market behavior while keeping the learning experience completely safe.
The simulator features:
- Real-time NYSE data that mirrors live market conditions for authentic practice.
- An Invest Mode where students can build a virtual portfolio and study performance.
- A Predict Mode using five years of historical data to test intuition and decision-making.
- Dedicated pages for viewing stocks, making trades, and tracking analytics and stats.
This wasn’t just a game — it became a dynamic learning environment designed to build confidence, curiosity, and financial awareness through exploration.
Seeing students experiment freely and gain clarity without risking a dollar made the project especially rewarding.

Desk – Passion Project
Stock SimulWhat started as a simple curiosity became a full sensory-adaptive workspace designed to support students in moments of overwhelm. I noticed how the same environment can inspire one student yet overstimulate another — so I set out to build a desk that adapts in real time to a student’s emotional and learning needs.ator
The simulator features:
- Adaptive ambient lighting that shifts from calming blues to energizing yellows.
- Built-in speaker offering white noise, soft music, and other focus-boosting soundscapes.
- Tactile sensory elements to help students self-regulate during stressful moments.
- A visual scheduler display that keeps students organized without distracting them.
This wasn’t just a piece of furniture — it became a sensory-immersive ecosystem built from empathy, design thinking, and rapid prototyping.
I later donated the desk to Code Ninja, where students naturally gravitate to it whenever they need a calmer workspace.

Music Streaming Platform
What began as an interest in how students discover and share music evolved into a full-stack streaming platform built entirely around their needs. I realized students wanted a space to upload their own songs and explore new sounds — so I set out to build an experience that felt intuitive, personal, and engaging from the start.
he simulator features:
- A clean, Spotify-inspired interface designed for smooth listening and exploration.
- A full-stack system using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript on the front, with Python behind it.
- An SQLite database structured to store users, songs, metadata, and playlists.
- Complete CRUD functionality for uploading, editing, and managing music collections.
This wasn’t just a coding project — it became a complete digital ecosystem that blended design, architecture, and user experience into one cohesive platform.
Watching students use it to share music and discover new favorites made the work especially meaningful.
